Breaking Barriers: My Journey from Fear to Fitness

Hi and welcome!
I’m so excited to share my fitness journey with you!
For the past couple of years, I worked as a flight attendant. It was a rewarding career, but I knew something had to change in order to achieve a better work-life balance. I transitioned to a life that prioritizes my health and fitness, and this shift has led me to reawaken my true passion for training.
I started my fitness journey in my early twenties feeling intimidated and scared. I had this idea that lifting weights would turn me into a bodybuilder like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I quickly learned that wasn’t the case. I wanted to feel more confident in the gym and on the weight floor, so I made the investment in myself by earning my personal training certification. That was just the beginning.
Since then, I’ve continued to invest in my growth. I’m now certified in adaptive fitness through the Adaptive Training Academy, which has been a game-changer. Adaptive fitness focuses on empowering individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, helping them engage in functional movements and improve their strength, mobility, and overall quality of life. This certification has deepened my understanding of inclusivity, and I’m passionate about offering training to individuals from all backgrounds and capabilities. Whether you’re just starting out in fitness, are an experienced athlete, or have specific needs, I’m here to help you achieve your goals in a way that works for you.
I’m also currently working on my spin instructor certification—because let me tell you, cycling is my reward workout, and I absolutely LOVE it! Right now, I’m also preparing for a HYROX race in February 2025. It’s been a challenging yet exciting training experience, and I’m thrilled to push myself to the next level.
Through all of this, I’ve transformed something that once felt intimidating into a new passion that I want to share with others—especially those who are just starting their own fitness journey. If you’re feeling like I did—scared, unsure, or overwhelmed—I’m here to show you that you can achieve your goals, no matter where you start.
